Abstract

Patient‑reported outcome measures (PROMs) are validated tools that complement physician assessments and play a crucial role in guiding treatment decisions and monitoring disease burden in atopic dermatitis (AD). However, their use in routine clinical practice stays limited due to low physician awareness and adoption1. Additionally, topical corticosteroid (TCS) phobia among patients and caregivers can adversely affect adherence and treatment outcomes.
